"BROKEN ETERNITY"
This bas-relief explores the theme of temporal destruction and the search for meaning in chaos. Through the contrast of black and gold surfaces, the work expresses the internal conflict between stability and change, recalling the fragility of human existence and the constant transformation of the world. Through the use of geometric shapes and textures, the artist embodies the idea that even in destruction lies beauty and the possibility of a new beginning.
Conceptual narrative:

"Broken Eternity" is a monumental high-relief wall sculpture exploring the dramatic tension between permanence and fragmentation. The artwork serves as a visual metaphor for time itself—majestic, unchanging, yet shattered by the forces of change. Deep, bottomless black waves symbolize the passage of time and space, while a fractured, gilded tectonic formation running through the center symbolizes a split second of eternal beauty frozen in matter. This impressive artwork is intended to imbue contemporary luxury spaces with a sense of quiet, brutalist luxury.

Visual and Sculptural Impact:

This artwork is distinguished by its extraordinary, museum-quality depth of 13 cm (5.1 in). Unlike standard flat wall reliefs, it is a fully three-dimensional low-relief sculpture. Deep, matte black wavy lines create an intense, velvety texture that absorbs light, casting heavy, architectural shadows. In stark, dramatic contrast, the cracked core is hand-painted with high-quality gold foil, creating a lustrous, metallic, reflective surface. As natural or artificial light changes throughout the day, the golden cracks are illuminated differently, giving the sculpture a vibrant, ever-changing appearance. Resin is applied over the gilding to create a wet-look effect.

Technique and Craftsmanship:

Meticulously handcrafted through a complex, multi-week process of layered paint application. The sculpture is built on a durable, reinforced 100x100 cm wooden board, designed to withstand the weight and prevent warping. The three-dimensional geological forms are created using a proprietary blend of high-strength structural gypsum, high-quality polymer compounds, and industrial cementitious mixtures. The gold elements are carefully hand-applied and coated with a non-toxic, odorless, museum-grade eco-resin, providing UV protection and durability.
