solar energy as the center of our lives
"OUTPOURING OF LIGHT"
This work is a visual meditation on solar energy as the center of our lives and the constant flows of forces that shape the universe and ourselves. The black base symbolizes depth and mystery, while gold leaf and epoxy resin create the effect of frozen water or molten lava, symbolizing the power and warmth of solar flows. The interplay of frozen lines and the light mist of the water invites the viewer to reflect on the endless movements of energy, on the inner strength that simultaneously flows eternally and solidifies into forms. The work is a symbol of the eternal circulation of energy, light and dark, movement and rest.
Conceptual narrative:

"Outpouring of Light" is a monumental, non-geometric sculpture in high relief, centered on a dramatic aperture that serves as a powerful visual portal of cosmic origin and radiant energy. The composition masterfully transitions from a solid, geometric horizon of textured gold foil to a heavy, undulating crescent of obsidian-black material. Radial, hand-carved channels and organic cracks evoke mountain ranges or tectonic ridges, cleaved by an intense, overwhelming light source. This striking, avant-garde work of art serves as a luxurious visual anchor, bringing an atmosphere of architectural mysticism, unbridled Brutalist power, and refined contemporary elegance to premium contemporary interiors.

Visual and Sculptural Impact:

The artwork boasts a substantial overall thickness of 7 cm (2.8 in), with multi-layered incised carvings and reliefs ranging from 2 to 3 cm (0.8 to 1.2 in) in depth. A central through-hole creates a captivating interplay of depth, allowing the wall behind it to directly interact with the sculpture. The main projections are finished in an ultra-matte, light-absorbing black, creating dense architectural shadows. In brilliant contrast, the upper horizon and exploding radial veins are hand-painted with high-quality gold foil (tale) and selectively sealed with a glossy, odorless, hypoallergenic resin. This creates an intense "wet look" effect, imbuing the liquid gold veins with a glassy depth that dynamically captures and reflects ambient light as the viewer moves through the room.

Technique and Craftsmanship:

Meticulously handcrafted through an intensive, highly skilled, multi-week sculpting process. The plywood base is custom-made. The sculpture features an internal, point-reinforced structure, guaranteeing absolute structural strength under a 10 kg weight. The structure is specifically designed to safely distribute the load around the central cavity and upper corners. Complex topographical folds are created using high-quality polymer compounds, followed by precise, continuous hand carving, sculpting, and hand finishing to create each individual recess and textured line. The piece is then coated with high-strength cement and structural plaster mixtures, painted with deep black water-soluble pigments, gold plated, and selectively coated with museum resin to create a wet-look effect and an archival, UV-protected finish.
