THE fragment of an ancient alien artifact
"FORGOTTEN CODE OF THE ERA"
Description of the series of works. Like a fragment of an ancient alien artifact, unexpectedly abandoned in the modern world. The complex structure and enigmatic patterns resemble a coded symbol or runic language, abandoned millions of years ago but still holding the secret knowledge of vanished civilizations.
The painting evokes the feeling of something forgotten, hidden in the depths of time, that can only be revealed to those capable of deciphering the "forgotten code of the era." It is a visual voice of truth about the ancient wisdom that lives within us and around us, awaiting its awakening.
Conceptual narrative:

"The Forgotten Code of the Era" is a monumental, non-geometric sculpture in high relief, shaped as an elongated, open, ring-shaped biomorphic monolith. The artwork is a profound visual and philosophical reflection on ancient history, forgotten technologies, and cosmic archaeology. Its completely asymmetrical, leaf-like silhouette transcends traditional framing and incorporates dramatic apertures, allowing the wall behind it to directly interact with the sculpture. The intricate, radial, and undulating network of hand-carved cells and ridges resembles a fossilized digital relic or a topographic map of an alien landscape, where time has frozen encrypted messages in obsidian-black matter. This commanding, avant-garde artwork brings an atmosphere of raw, brutalist luxury, mysterious power, and sophisticated contemporary drama to high-end contemporary spaces.

Visual and Sculptural Impact:

The artwork has a substantial overall thickness of 7 cm (2.8 in) with hand-cut incisions ranging from 2 to 3 cm (0.8 to 1.2 in) deep, transforming a flat wall into a highly tactile, three-dimensional surface . The majority of the panel is finished in an uncompromising, light-absorbing matte black, creating dense architectural shadows and soft gray gradients. In stark, luminous contrast, the undulating channels are highlighted with metallic silver pigments and selectively filled with high-quality, glossy, hypoallergenic resin. This creates a sophisticated "wet look" effect, making the recesses appear as if filled with liquid mercury or dark water, rhythmically changing their appearance under different lighting angles throughout the day.

Technique and Craftsmanship:

Meticulously handcrafted through an intensive, highly skilled, multi-week sculpting process. The custom-made plywood base features an internal, point-reinforced structure, guaranteeing absolute structural strength at a weight of 7 kg. The structure is specifically designed to safely distribute the load around the delicate central cutouts and tapered ends. The complex biomorphic topography is created using high-quality polymer compounds, followed by precise, continuous hand carving and hand molding to achieve detailed porous cells and smooth ridges. The piece is then coated with high-strength cement and structural gypsum mixtures, painted with water-soluble pigments, silvered, and selectively coated with museum resin and protective varnishes for absolute durability and UV resistance.
