PROGECT
"ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE SOUL"
MATERIALS:
plaster, acrylic, varnish,
liquid silver leaf
An abstract bas-relief in a biomorphic/organic vein with topographical and surreal motifs. The forms resemble layered maps, muscular folds, and growths growing from within—a combination of topography, organic abstraction, and contemporary relief. The color and sheen create a sense of materiality and interior space.
bas-relief
100х100 cm.
THE Map of Forgotten and Re-Imprinted Stories
"ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE SOUL"
A map of forgotten and re-imprinted histories: folds and depressions hold whispers of the past, and the shimmering edges hint that no memory ever fades completely. Like parchment on which new words are written again and again, the relief bears traces of past impressions that become apparent only at the moment of gaze. Come closer, and the form, like a voice, begins to stir, inviting you to hear what once was and what is yet to come.

Volumetric modeling: Polymer materials.
Volume: Gypsum mixture + marble flour.
