THE Map of Forgotten and Re-Imprinted Stories
"ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE SOUL"
A map of forgotten and re-imprinted histories: folds and depressions hold whispers of the past, and the shimmering edges hint that no memory ever fades completely. Like parchment on which new words are written again and again, the relief bears traces of past impressions that become apparent only at the moment of gaze. Come closer, and the form, like a voice, begins to stir, inviting you to hear what once was and what is yet to come.
Conceptual narrative:

"Archaeology of the Soul" is a monumental, non-geometric sculpture in high relief, representing a profound visual journey into the human psyche. The organic, asymmetrical silhouette beautifully mimics a geological excavation, revealing concentric layers of memories, emotional topographies, and ancient spiritual structures. The dark, enigmatic central core represents the shadow self or deep subconscious, while fluid, metallic silver veins cutting through the outer ridges symbolize the enlightenment of self-knowledge. This breathtaking, avant-garde work of art is destined to dominate high-end interiors, bringing an atmosphere of museum-quality opulence, brutalist mysticism, and exceptional contemporary drama to premium contemporary spaces.

Visual and Sculptural Impact:

This masterpiece boasts a striking and rare overall thickness of 22 cm (8.7 in), with dramatic incisions reaching depths of up to 15 cm (5.9 in). This impressive volume transforms the piece from a traditional wall panel into a striking, fully three-dimensional low-relief sculpture. The dark, organic folds have an ultra-matte, light-absorbing finish, creating deep, architectural shadows. In stark, luminous contrast, the undulating concentric ridges are highlighted with metallic silver pigments that capture diffused light, accentuating the rhythmic flow and transforming the sculpture into a constantly changing spectacle depending on the angle of light throughout the day.

Technique and Craftsmanship:

Meticulously crafted by hand through a complex, multi-week sculpting process. The plywood base is custom-made. The sculpture features an internal, point-reinforced structure, guaranteeing absolute structural strength under its impressive 13 kg weight. The complex biomorphic relief is created using high-quality polymer compounds, followed by intensive hand carving and hand finishing to create multi-layered valleys, crater zones, and spiral textures. The piece is then coated with high-strength cement and structural plaster mixtures, painted with water-soluble black and silver pigments, and finished with a high-quality water-soluble protective acrylic varnish to ensure absolute durability and UV resistance.
