"TIME CYCLE"
This bas-relief is a meditation on the nature of time and its infinity. Its rounded form and expressive textured lines symbolize the elusive flows of time that never stop. The work is distinguished by a combination of minimalism and rich textured depth, evoking in the viewer a sense of endless movement in space and a momentary moment frozen in eternity. The piece invites reflection on movement and cessation, on the past and the future—on the endless cycle of existence.
Conceptual narrative:

"Time Cycle" is a monumental wall sculpture in high relief, executed in the form of an open tondo, representing a powerful visual and philosophical reflection on infinity, eternity, and the cyclical nature of existence. The geometric yet organically fragmented silhouette opens from above, forming a crescent or portal that dynamically interacts with the architectural space. The complex, roughly crafted texture beneath the shimmering metallic sheen evokes the passage of aeons, reminiscent of solar radiation, cosmic dust, or a highly polished archaeological artifact. This impressive work of art imbues elite interiors with an atmosphere of luxurious industrial opulence, brutalist mysticism, and refined avant-garde drama.

Visual and Sculptural Impact:

The artwork has a substantial overall thickness of 7 cm (2.8 inches), transforming the flat vertical surface into a rich, undulating relief. The entire surface is covered with high-quality copper/rose gold metallic foil (thale) and completely encased in a thick, glass-like layer of glossy, odorless, and hypoallergenic resin. This creates a remarkable "wet surface" effect that visually enhances the intricate cracks, craters, and details of the linear rays beneath the surface. Raised, glossy textures capture intense light reflections, while subtle incisions cast soft, internal shadows, giving the sculpture a vibrant, molten appearance as the ambient light changes throughout the day.

Technique and Craftsmanship:

Meticulously handcrafted through an intensive, multi-week sculpting process.
The plywood base is custom-made. The sculpture features internal point reinforcement to ensure absolute structural strength under a 7 kg weight, specifically designed to safely distribute the load around the exposed central curve and upper pointed ends. The intricate, cracked relief is created using high-quality polymer compounds, followed by precise hand carving, sculpting, and texturing to create radial lines and an aged mineral texture. The panel is then coated with high-strength cement and structural plaster mixtures, hand-gilded, and fully encapsulated in museum-quality resin to create a wet-look finish and ensure absolute durability and UV resistance.
